I had thought that the Omni 6 Plus time duration of the "Di" was too short when
set to 1.0. My old AEA keyer sounded nice, I liked it.
I had used a straight key for 10 years before I got the AEA keyer and topped
off with the straight key at 27wpm on traffic nets.
Now that I know how to set it. I have it at 1.2. Still the "Di" and the "Dah"
sounds to me too short but sounds better. I did not like how it sounded at 1.3
and a DX station missed the K in my call sign for some reason so I set it to
1.2. What the standard is in the industry I have no idea. I think it is more
of a personal issue
