I doubt if your pod will ever fail.My RIT/XIT rarely works. Lately, I've been using the N4PY software to control the RIT/XIT. That always works. I also programmed a user control on my DXLabs Commander to control the RIT when I'm not using the N4PY software. The Commander controlled RIT always works. I would assume that the pod, like computer commands, completely bypasses the encoder and its associated components. 73 de K1ESE John John T. I reprogrammed my remote POD and now dare my RIT/XIT to fail. If anyone has a POD and their RIT/XIT fails, please try this idea and let me know your experience. I will also let everyone know when mine fails and the results.
