The bypass switch on the transverter was designed for 100 watts. I believe
you are ok at 200 watts doing this but I would watch the SWR at the rig. If
it suddenly jumps then it was not ok.

Subject: [TenTec] TenTec 1208
I just acquired a TenTec 1208 to use with my FT-1000MP MKV and I have a
couple of questions.
I know that I have to detune the rig to 5-7 watts to use the 1208
My main question is:
If I hook up to the 'HF' antenna port and switch over to 'bypass' can I
still use my 200W output into the bypass of the inverter, or
do I need to put a coax switch inline and completely bypass the inverter?
My next question is does anyone have a 6 meter vertical they would part
with?

complete it? 29For if he lays the foundation and is not able to finish it,
everyone who sees it will ridicule him, 30saying, 'This
fellow began to build and was not able to finish.'
