All Omni rigs and the Herc II run VERY well from any 13.8V supply 
that can supply the required current. All you need are suitably 
wired power connectors. Also, the Herc II can be driven by any 
decent rig, and it takes only about 30 watts to hit full output. The 
connectors are all standard Molex parts, so you can buy them (shells 
and pins) through standard electronics distribution (Allied, Newark, 
etc.). 

I would try the Omni and the Herc II on another supply and reduced 
power and see if they're OK.  You can even run the Omni from one 
supply and the Herc II from another one. The Astron 70A supply will 
just about provide full power from the Herc II.
