A 27 ohm resistor in series with the new lamp will extend its life greatly.

It'd be an 1892, 12V bayonet base, clear bulb for Corsair II and Omni VI+
(and probably most of the other 12V powered TT transceivers).
Don't know if that's the original put in by TT, but I think so.
Once very easy to find, pilot/meter lamps are now becoming a order item at
some Radio Shack and some hardware stores.
