John...

I also posted on here a couple weeks ago for a logic board, dead or alive. I have had ads running on QTH.com and on QRZ.com for the same for over a month, with no results so far.

I had the same (non)success trying to buy a new or replaced board from the mother ship.

It seems a lot of those chips have gone obsolete, and they seem to unfortunately be the ones most likely to get zapped by a surge or pulse.

I am in the midst of repairing one right now, and I'll post here when I either succeed or throw in the towel.

I'm trying to resurrect my Omni VI+ (option 3 upgrade) that appears to have some severe problems related to the logic board. Yes, I have tried TenTec's
premier repair service, and the rig was rejected by them as being "too
expensive to fix...".

Anyway, I'm looking for a replacement logic board as that appears to be
where the problems lie, at least right now.
