Received my TT-715 on Monday.... took it out of the shipping box, admired the
unit, read the printed material and set it aside. Monday evening (about 0200
UTC 28 July 09) I decided to add the RF Clipper to my Heil Quiet Sound - HC5
and Omni VI+ line up. I checked the 715 output vs. bypass levels and determined
they were the same as the OMNI VI+ RF peak output was the same (or same average
with constant 1000 Hz tone applied to HC5.

I heard KH6MB working a small pile up and using the TT-715, easily worked him
barefoot with about 80 Watts peak through a number of stations reporting beams
and small amplifiers at about 0300 UTC (10 PM local).

At about 2200 on the 28th, I worked 4O3A on 20 in a similar fashion, then 4U1UN
on 20 at about 2340 on the 30th.

I made absolutely NO adjustments to the TT-715, strictly plug and play right
out of the box its like adding a small linear.

Best regards,
