It was an excellent hamfest. The rain held off for the morning. It did start
raining at about 11:30 and that shut things down. Usually things start to wind
down at
1:00 ish. The tailgate section was good. I sold about 1/2 of what I brought.
The best thing to leave my table IMHO was a Hammerlund SP-600 (it needed
restoring) The crowd was good (considering the rain forcast) (it was down from
years past)

The two new products were: A very nice chrome plated microphone.(similar to a
Heil Heritage but better looking IMHO) and a USB to radio adapter. (It brings
the audio from the rear connector on a TenTec transceiver to your USB computer
connection and presents itself as an audio device)

They had a 3 way setup where you could listen to yourself (via headphones) and
try out 3 different mics.

They had all 3 of their transceivers set up for you to try. (just like they
always do)

There were some nice deals at the tailgate section... I was looking for a used
Centurion, but there were none to be had (insert sad face here)

I purchased a new 238C antenna tuner (insert big smiley face here)

I always have a good time at this hamfest, rain or shine. I missed the first
one but have made the last 9.
