Just plugging a mic into the 234 and supplying 13.8 volts to the back phono
connector of the 234 should cause blinking of the red LED when speaking into
the mic. If you don't see any blinking when oyu speak into the mic with the
gain set to full, something is wrong with the 234. I use a 234 all the
time.

I recently aquired a couple of the TT234 speech processors...and they seem
nice...but I cannot seem to get it working in the processing mode...here

the setup...a Heil HC4 headset plugged into the front of the TT234..the
TT234 output plugged into a MicroHam MicroKeyer...and its output plugged
into the Orion's microphone jack...when I turn on the TT234..there is no
change in audio and I cannot get any blinking led on the 234...will this
combo work?/...I have a TT715 and it works fine with my Orion's....figured
