i have been using LOGic8 in Windows and xlog in Ubuntu. neither needs an
address. both read the Orion. 57000 baud, etc are the important info
along with a serial port assignment. if you don't have a serial port a
USB to serial port adapter works fine for LOGic8 and xlog.
