Thanks to all that responded,

   Loads of good information!  Looks like the PA and driver transistors 
along
with the bandswitch wafers and indexes are the big ticket items at this time
with only more parts being added to that list as time marches on.

   Many have responded that I should look at starting to aquire parts rigs
for future needs, and I am intending to do so as time and money permit.
I am very lucky in that my Omni C came to me in perfect condition both
electrically/mechanically and cosmetically.  It must have seen very little
use in it's lifetime or lots of TLC.  So I have little doubt it will serve 
me
well for quite sometime in the future, and with the information that I now
have, I should be able to keep it in service for many, many years down the
line.  Heck, this may even be my rig when I go SK!  (which would be the
only time anyone would be able to pry it out of my hands hi hi)
