Below is some data I have collected about Ten-Tec filters. Stock number
48168 is not included in this list, so when you do get it figured out, I
would like the information to update the list.
I don't know what a 282L would be, having never seen a letter suffix on
a Ten-Tec filter model number. Ten-Tec does (or did) supply both low and
high frequency filters of the the bandwidth, such as the 219 and 221,
but only for the 9 MHz IF. There would not be much point in having two
different center frequency filters of the same bandwidth in the 6.3 MHz
IF, because the PBT control can be used to shift the apparent center
frequency anyway. So if it is a variant of a model 282 6.3 MHz IF
filter, I would guess that the L does not refer to center frequency.
Do you know what frequency it passes? 9 MHz or 6.3 MHz?
