The Eagle rx should definitely outperform the 1000D. Considering many
critical parts of the 1000D are no longer obtainable, it's obvious
that support/service on the Eagle will be vastly superior.

On the other side of the equation: 1000D has subrx, rx ant, 50 more
knobs/switches, and about 55 more pounds on the Eagle.
