In looking at the N4YG DDS VFO and the associated links, a question came to 
mind: the PTO/VFO signal loops through the back panel VFO IN/OUT, and 
appropriate DC power should be available on the accompanying Molex connector. 
Unless I'm missing something, might it be possible (and about as easy) just 
to mount the DDS VFO in an external enclosure and use it as a 263(G) remote 
VFO "clone" instead of installing it internally?
