The Omni D series B also had a kit to add 12 meters. Actually the kit added
30 meter transmit and 12 meter transmit and receive and was $25 when it came
out. The Omni C allowed individual selection of the cascaded audio filter
whereas the Omni D and A series B only allowed 2 positions of audio
filtering for each IF crystal filter. But essentially the rigs were almost
identical. Later when the Corsair's came out, the main addition over the
Omni's was pass band tuing.
