Barry, 

If you remove the knob and look at the back of it, you can easily see how the 
adjustment works. You can remove the guts and have no friction, or just set it 
higher on the shaft

With the knob friction set as loose as it will go on my 302R remote 
pod, the friction is still too high for my liking.  Does anyone know 
if the knob assembly can be opened up and the friction clutch adjusted 
to change the range of adjustment?  I believe the knob assembly is the 
same design in Omni VI and Orion.
