I have been very impressed with my Orion II's handling of that type of
noise...both the hardware and software NL's are good at killing it. My
station is at a ranch, operated by remote, and fortunately, I have not had a
major problem with fence zappers, but once in a while, it does show up,
along with some ignition noise from older farm equipment that occasionally
operates nearby. In every case, the NL's knock out the noise 100%. Running
with the hardware NL does tend to cause intermod with really strong signals,
but it gets the job done.

We are moving to a new qth in horse country...and I will have to contend
with electric fences.
How well does the Orion's noise blanker handle the tick...tick...tick?

HF antenna will be a 270 ft or so horizontal loop up 30 ft or so.
