Ship it to Tentec, pay the repair price and chalk it up to "education expense". I know it was an accident and we all are subject to making mistakes. Some are just more expensive than others.

Trouble shooting an issue like this can be very time consuming. Unless specific components are initially found to be defective, I've observed that just wholesale replacement of parts would likely induce more problems that originally existed from the initial event. This is much like finding faults where a lightning strike has caused a failure. That translates to $0.30 worth of parts and 10 to 15 hours of diagnostic time.

I have a friend, NOT me, who mistakenly got the amp into the antenna
jack on his Omni 6. I don't even own an amp, nor would I! hi hi hi

He has replaced the pin diodes, and done some other trouble shooting,
but the receiver is still inoperative. Does anyone have suggestions I
can pass on to him?
