Elecraft offers to loan radios to DXpeditions. As do many other companies.
They consider it part of the "cost of doing business" or "cost of
advertising"/
Ten-Tec at present has chosen not to do so.
Now, if you're trying to choose between the best two rigs on the market, and
the loan of one is offered to you gratis, but the other is not... well, it's
pretty much a no-brainer, isn't it?
