Good morning John,
I should have checked the email more often. Well, I was CW with 5 Watts and
10 Watts on SSB with my Tentec Delta II and QRP will work on 160, the noise
is the big problem. In the Winter I use a full sized dipole expecially for
receiving, but I do not hang it until early Winter.
Of course we picked the worst weekend of the year for storms - one was
heading over from the South and also West and up through New England another
front was blasting through. It was brutal yesterday for the VHF test and
the Upper and lower sideband ARCI event.
Let's give 160 a change once all of this static is lower.

my ant 317ft up 70ft a double ex zipp for 75m works great on 78/80 m

what part of the band is for qrp? 160 seems like a pretty tough band
