You mention FSK, the MixW program provides AFSK and not a FSK signal although it says RTTY. For AFSK the Orion should be in USB mode. Check the value of the Line/Aux Gain as it may be 0 or too low. Raise the Line/Aux gain to a mid way value to start. Also the Windows Mixer will adjust the audio level going to the radio.

From MixW drop down menu select Configure and then Output volume. This
brings up the Windows Mixer. The two sliders marked Volume Control and Wave are the controls for the audio out of the computer. I normally run mine about mid range and then adjust the Wave slider for some 30 to 40 watts of data power output. The Orion should be set to 100 watts power and the Speech Processor should be off.

Hello ! I have just connected the TenTec Model 712 USB to the Aux/I on my Orion II and ran MixW on my PC .The programme is reading the Digi fsk signals ok but i can not get the programme configed to transmit /send a sig I have the programme set for the TenTec Orion II and have gone into the menu on the Orion II and changed the TX Audio source to Aux instead Mic.Still will not force the transciever to TX a digi sig ??
