The B model of the 422 is the current model that you see on the Ten Tec website with the black cabinet. I'm no engineer but I don't think there is much difference in the original model 422 and the new model 422b. They are use a pair of 3-500z tubes.

tuner
with something
hefty like the Centurion 422, it might not tolerate the high power.
Sounds
like it was
made to use with the solid state amps that put out a little less
spark and
grit!
