Have you tried turning it on without a key plugged into it?

Have you checked your plugs/cables?

Sometimes the keyer on my recently purchased Corsair II will go crazy. The first dit will produce of string of continuous dit dah that can only be interrupted by turning the radio off. Wondering if others have experienced similar behavior.
