ISOLATION.... I think the KEY is SUFFICIENT ISOLATION.

        I worry about A/B switches that lack
        sufficient isolation, and have seen the
        transmit signal of one rig in the receiver
        of the other rig - and I don't think that
        is a good thing.

I would not consider anything with less than 70 dB isolation. More if at all possible.
