For 10 watts of TX power it does a great job. I work a lot of PSK-31 and CW
with this radio. I also work some SSB and most folks never know if I'm on
the Argonaut VI or the Omni VII except for about a 1.5 S unit difference in
signal strength. The receiver is outstanding and on par, performance wise,
with the Orion II. I find it has excellent receive audio quality with the
built in speaker.
It is what it is, so be sure one understands what it does.
