Hello...

Thanks for the responses I got to my post sent quite a while ago (see below)-- 
about my Omni VI with no power out.  A local ham, W3GMS, suggested that I start 
by checking the drivers and finals out carefully.

So, I "gave in" and opened up the PA enclosure again and checked voltages and 
the current draw.  The transistors all seemed to be biased correctly, but the 
drivers didn't draw any current.  Bottom line:  I replaced the driver 
transistors (2SC1969) and the problem was solved.

I was very fortunate that it was a problem easily detected with simple 
equipment, and that they are easy transistors to remove and replace.
A happy ending, so far ;-).
