1. You need to replace the elastic string on the dial. that’s why it’s dropping
at the low end.
2. Calibrator should be balls to walls strong. check the rec/trans switch on
the rear. Operate it a few times. Pop the cover and make sure the calibrator is
there. Easy to find, look for the large long crystal
3. That is normal. The PTO shaft is above ground and touching the dial skirt
will cause a shift in freq. there are a few simple fixes for this or you can do
what Ten Tec tells you to do. “Don’t touch the dial skirt”
4. Got me on the last one.
