I can't justify it because I look at my hobby in a way that when I purchase 
something it must fit a need that another piece of already owned equipment 
cannot.  I see an asset that begins a depreciation cycle upon arrival and the 
titrating loss of value (monetary) has to be justifiable in my mind.  

It's because... besides engineering training, I got crazy and went to business 
school and it's tainted my ability to make large purchases. :-(

I wonder if there is a pill to correct my thinking on purchasing Ham gear :-)
