The 940 power supply is very adequate to power the 100 watt series of
radios. The Ten-Tec model 940 speaker console with internal switching power
supply provides up to 25 amps current at 13.8 Vdc for powering HF
transceivers and other Amateur Radio devices from an input of 115/230 VAC,
50/60 Hz. The internal 4 ohm 5 watt speaker is suitable for every possible
communication need, from clean CW operation to well-rounded AM receiver
audio.
Currently the SS-30 power supply on the Ten-Tec site sells for $149.
The 307B speaker is available for $109.
