What ever level it takes to keep below the ALC threshold would be the correct power level. Same for the 100 watt rigs too.

However, with the Argonaut VI the ALC circuit is of different design and one can run a full 10 watts.

In all cases, do not have any Speech Processing engaged.

The typical 100 watt rig needs to be throttled back to 20 watts or so when running digital modes, to keep the signal clean and not
burn out the finals.
What is suggested when running PSK or other digital modes with the Argo V?....5 watts??
