[TenTec] OT: Kenwood announces new improved "TS-590SG"

The TS590S can be had for $1250 NEW as a closeout now. 

And the used value for TS590S is now... yikes!

Kenwood added a CW reader, they want this radio to be a poor man's K3?

Kenwood also made significant changes to style the radio same as TS990. 

I always thought changing the conversion scheme at the higher frequencies
was amazingly cheesy. 

This radio has to compete with Eagle, FTDX1200, and new FT991 which will have 
VHF and a bandscope.

The list price is about $2K but apparently there is an introductory price of 
$1.5K. Certainly "the heat is on" in the mid-range!
