The only thing I remember about my 963 power supply was putting a large resister (maybe a 10 watt 80 ohms ) across one of the sensors to keep the fan from being so loud. It worked very well and the fan ran all the time after that but not so loudly.

The TT963 Power Supply has been under the bench for years floating a battery with no trouble. Yesterday it quit.

Do any of you have any suggestions of common problems and failures with this power supply? I pulled the cover and made a quick check of the fuse, which is not blown, and blew the dust and crud out of it. I am going to the bench to start a serious look, and any quick clues will be appreciated.

Hard core trouble shooting and repair is not a problem, but I have a lazy streak that prefers capitalizing on the wealth of knowledge and experience on the reflector.
