Peter, I think you would have to pad it and add end resistance.
I have done this before on my Argonaut's RIT but never tried it on the
bandpass.  Sounds like it should work.

I've noticed that the Band pass tuning range on my Omni VI and Paragon II
seems to be far larger than it needs to be--the actual useful tuning range
seems to be about 1/4 of the available control rotation.

Has anyone else noticed this?  Has anyone come up with a modification to
reduce the range?  I'm thinking of adding some end resistance on the pot.
