My Ten-Tec Orion II (purchased in 2007) seems to be a little sick. Serial

When I turned it on this morning, after about 5 seconds of normal receive,
suddenly I noticed that the S-Meter is reading 30 over 9. I can hear
signals in the background, but they do not seem to be as strong as usual,
like the RF Gain is up...but it isn't. I can vary the RF Gain from 1-100
and it doesn't do any good.
I have connected several different antennas, switched bands, etc., all with
the same results. The rig transmits fine.
I did a Master Reset twice and it did not solve the problem.
I'm using software version 3.029.
Got any ideas?
