I think it's time to kick ole Hertz where it hurts and return to kc and mc.  My 
radiodoesn't really care, but the freqs we use should be know for something 
other thansome guy we never knew.

Amusing observation on the kc/s -> Hz terminological change: Some sharp 
fellow, and I forget who and where it was published, suggested naming 
the unit for Charles Proteus Steinmetz instead of Heinrich Hertz. Pretty 
clever, I thought!
