I dimly remember a posting many years ago by someone who replaced the original power supply speaker with a coaxial automotive type speaker and ended up with much better sound. I've been unable to search/locate this post. Perhaps I'm mis-remembering. I did find a different thread where they discussed building an internal baffle around the back of the speaker to improve the sound.
