The headphone audio level on my Orion 565 is quite low. I have to have the
RF gain at 80 and the AF gain up about 80% for a decent level in a variety
of headphones.
However, if it turn on Binaural, the headphone audio level is about 50%
higher and on a par with my other radios.
I am using 3.032x7b firmware. I did RAM Clear, Master Reset, a second RAM
Clear, a second Master Reset, a power cycle, reset my menu items, and a
power cycle. The issue remains.
Is this common?
Since the audio is capable of a normal output level as shown by using
binaural, is this most likely a hardware or software issue? If so, what is
the likely culprit?
