Good afternoon-I have a Corsair 560, the first model, with some odd issues.
The overall power output is low and varies by band, 160 is close to 0 and
12 meters is the best at 25 watts out, with other bands between 5 and 10,
without much rhyme or reason to what band. Ic on the meter shows as about 5
amps on 12, shows a range 0f 9 amps to almost nothing on other bands, and
more power in doesn't not translate into more power out. It acts like the
finals are out of tune, but looking at the final board, the low pass filter
board and bandpass boards I don't see what could be tuned or adjusted in
those circuits.
Also, received audio in SSB sounds wierd, almost like it's always just a
bit out of tune, and kind of raspy.
My power supply is capable of 20 amps, and I have tried another supply with
the same results. Thanks in advance for ideas or suggestions.
