Just use an adapter, 1/8 in. to 1/4 in. phone plug, 3 pole.

The latter option is what you want. The one on the back is for something like
a dual paddle keyer.You should just change the 1/8 inch plug out for the

1/8" plug.
Does he plug it into the "keyer" jack on the back of the OMNI VI, or does he
