OEM "pull" encoder. Got a pulled VFO encoder from him last year for my 565, and
it worked fb.

You say "the Avago HRPG-ASCA 17R does not work." What do you mean by "does
not work"? Does it work electrically but the collar doesn't fit the
mounting bracket hole or ???
