Update to carry on of rigs in air travel.
News over the Memorial Day weekend was all about the Homeland Security
head is considering expanding the ban on electronic carry ons to all
foreign flights in and out. Also, maybe will be all airports. Trials
underway at LAX, (Los Angeles).
This means you could only check your rig in baggage. Well padded and
protected for your property protection; but wrapped in something that
does not impede X-Ray exams.
They also are considering tightening up carry on rules to disallow dense
packing that impedes screening at gates.
As always, latest info on travel carry rules will be at TSA web pages
for USA and international flights.
Maybe rent a rig, in city you plan to visit?
