According to my Original Paragon manual, the meter lamps are 6 V.  There is a voltage regulator type 7805 on the  Low Level Amplifier/Noise Blanker board.  See section 6-18 on page 6-69: "Regulated 6 Volts is supplied to the meter lamps through connector O."  I presume that Ten Tec used regulated voltage for the lamps to prevent them from flickering during keying (like the 12 V lamps on my Corsair do.

The venerable #47, rated at 3,000 hours,  would be the lamp of choice.  However, the #755 is also 6V, draws the same current, but is rated at 20,000 hours!

Any bayonet base lamp rated at 12 - 14 volts.  Type 52 would do.

I have a Paragon and need to replace the display/meter lights.  The ones in my radio do not have any markings on them.  Anyone know what the bulb is?  The manual/schematic do not show them!!  I plan to replace them with LED lights but need to know what is supposed to be in the radio first.
