A special permission is needed to be able to visit the islands, which as some researchers beleive belongs to those that will sink into the ocean in about 5 years! is being organized to take place in February 2008 by a large team of experienced operators. Landing permissions and licences have  been granted, and a suitable charter vessel has been secured. Activity will be on 160-6 metres with seven stations, all Elecraft K3 transceivers with ACOM amps. The team is seeking financial contributions to help defray the very significant costs of this Dxpedition, well over 200,000 USDs.
