[TOEC] SAC SSB over 7100kHz?

Hello Tomi!

Yes, I agree with your comments. During the lonely hours of the LONG
night... I listened quite much above 7100 and I never used the opportunity
to be there as legally here in Russia. Also I did not hear many stations
from Scandinavia using 40 meters in other way than traditional split for US.

About RTTY, I strongly agree with you... It is time to make a decision that
will solve this issue, because on 40 the band really is extremely crowded.
Also, one should not forget the fact that a lot of contesters in the world
facour the RTTY contest against the smaller SAC.

There are several ways to go (to combine SSB and CW in one contest or to
move SSB part to another weekend), but to let things remain as they are,
will eventually kill SAC SSB, because the interest for RTTY will NOT be less
in years to come.

Let us all keep the ceiling level high, and allow a stimulating and
refreshing debate how we shall defend the position of SAC in the future, and
also by improving it to a level where SAC actually ends up like the winner,
in a category that is just lightly below the big recognized worldwide
contests, BUT definitiely at a level above many smaller national contests.
