Janne,

Separate numbers per band is the best practice for M/S in SAC. If same 
serial numbers are used for run and mult stations there WILL be troubles 
with duplicate numbers given out. WPX modified it's rules to separate 
numbering years ago and so should SAC, IOTA and all the others that have 
serial number in the exchange. The different number series for run and 
mult are troublesome as most logging programs don't support it. 
Especially if more than one mult station is used on the station.
