Activity will be only CW mainly on the 30/17/12 meter bands, and 
also on 80/40/20/15/10 meters usually 15 kHz from the bottom of

Activity will be on 160-6 meters using mainly CW and RTTY, but he 
will have a microphone with him just in case someone really needs 
a phone QSO. Operations will be with a focus on the lower bands 
and listening for JA stations during his sunset and sunrise. As 
always, he will be using his IC-706MK2G (this time with an amp) 
into an HF9VX for 80-6m and an inverted "L" (on a 15m fiberglass

With the "Pacific DXers" postponing their DXpedition to Nauru (see 
C2 above), the group has reorganzied their first DXpedition 
to Tuvalu. Operators mentioned are VK4AN, VK4FW, VK4NEF, NL8F, 
K4ZLE and W5SL. Activity will be on all HF bands, 160-6 meters 
using CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK31. They expect to have at least 3 
stations on the air with a dedicated station set up on 6 meters

By the "Buddies in the Caribbean" DXpedition group which 
specializes in 100 watt or less low power radios and the Buddipole 
portable antenna systems. The eight operators mentioned are W3FF, 
N7UN, WD9CMD, N7BF, WF2S, K9CJM, AA4OC and WU1B. There will be 3 
villa stations in operation on 160-10 meters using CW, SSB, and 
RTTY or PSK. At the same time, several teams will be battery-only, 
field portable either from St. Lucia beaches or scenic mountain

by K1LZ (as ET3AA on 80/40 meters), K3LP (as ET3AA on 160/30

bands using SSB), K1LZ and N2WB. The goals of their trip is to 
install antennas at the Addis Ababa University, administer VE Ham

Pitcairn has not seen any large-scale amateur DXpedition operation

The team will depart from Buenaventura, Colombia on January 22, 
2012, for the 235 mile trip to Malpelo. Depending on sea and 
landing conditions, they expect to be QRV within 36 hours after 
landing for about 10-12 days. The team will return to Buenaventura 
on Feb. 6, 2012. Operations are planned on 160 through 6 meters on 
CW, SSB and Digital modes. The team consists of HK1R (Team

SB200 Amplifier. Antennas include: a 80-10m Multi-band Dipole, and 
metal roof mounted S9, 18' and 31' Verticals and 3 element Yagi 
for 6m. His operations will include the ARRL International DX SSB 
Contest (March 3-4th), and CQ WPX SSB Contest (March 24-25th) as a 
Single-Op/All-Band entries. XYL Cathy (W5HAM) will occasionally

13/2 - 19/2 UNITED STATES OF AMERICA; K7UGA 
special event operation in celebration of the Arizona Centennial. 
Individual CADXA members will be operating from their home 
stations located throughout Arizona during that week using the 
callsign K7UGA. However, only special operating locations from 
Tucson, Prescott and Phoenix will be on the air celebrating the 
100th anniversary on Tuesday, February 14th, 2012. Operations will 
be on all amateur bands (160-2 meters); and will be using CW, SSB,
