I heard a buzz of Europeans calling something on 1826 around
sunset here at 2110Z. I listened and it was VK6VZ coming
through on the long path. Signals were not very strong--only
about RST 449. He was audible on both northeast and
southeast Beverages, but somewhat better on the northeast.
ON4UN and other Europeans made it, but I did not. VK6VZ was
readable for about 10 minutes before disappearing here.
I've also been checking the JA window for long path JA's but
so far nothing this season. Previously I've heard JA3ONB,
JA1JRK, and JA4CQS on long path over the past 2 years.
Propagation on this path should be peaking over the next
2 weeks.
