TopBand: is there life on 160 in the US.

howdy,
   being relatively new to topband i am beginning to wonder if i was
imagining things on dec 14 when I worked VE1ZZ, W4ZV and WA3EUL. does
life continue to exist on toband in NA anymore.  any hints you all can
give me re optimum times for QSO's wud be greatly appreciated.
