After a whole (European) day of silemce, "they" finally
showed up on 40 m CW with a "bang" of a signal (19:30).
Jim, 9V1YC was certainly prooving that is an excellent CW
operator. He is having a smooth pule-up, and his rate is
excellent. This looks very promising!
At the same time the RTTY station is on 20 (14.091) and
that must be Peter at the keys, we guess.
They probabaly spent the whole day trying to get some
equipment out of customs, but apparently they were
successful.
When asked, Jim said that they will run the KW amplifier
tonight, and he mentioned he would try 160 at 20:30 z.
Nobody reported hearing anything from the guys on 160
last night.
Good luck and 73,
Your pilots: ON4UN, N1DG, W0EK, K0EU, W4WW, W2IJ, JH1ROJ
