TopBand: magnet wire enamel

If you're buying magnet wire, get 'self fluxing polyurethane'. That is
solderable without any preparation.

If you have 'oleo' based insulation ( or Formvar), scraping or burning
works. Use an alcohol flame (methanol - not whisky!). It also anneals the
wire, helping prevent it breaking.
